ICARE HAPPY LIMITED is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Carer to join our growing care team.

This role is based in Somerset (Mendip area), supporting one of our valued clients who requires consistent, person-centred care.

This is a permanent position with a 12-month contract, offering ongoing, reliable work and an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate live-in support that promotes comfort and independence.
  • Deliver person-centred care — including personal, dietary, and domestic assistance — based on each client’s individual needs.
  • Offer around-the-clock care and companionship, fostering trust and emotional wellbeing.
  • Support clients with mobility, daily activities, and errands to enhance their quality of life.
  • Follow tailored care plans and report any changes in the client’s wellbeing promptly.

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Live-In Carer (desirable but not mandatory if you have strong care experience) 
  • Minimum of 6 months’ UK care experience (essential) 
  • Valid DBS clearance (essential) 
  • Driving licence (desirable) 
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and reliability
